Full Installation Instructions
I'll list the steps because this is not very intuitive and the install instructions appears to have vanished when we have the recent web site problem.
- 1) Download AuroraInstall and unzip it. You will have four files called Aurora.CAB, Setup.exe, Setup.LST and AuroraImages.zip
- 2) Run Setup.exe. This should run a standard Microsoft install program, installing to the default C:\Program Files\Aurora directory
- 3) Unzip AuroraImages.zip into the same directory
The above should provide the basic install
- 4) Download Aurora120.zip
- 5) Unzip it into the install directory, overwriting any files of the same name
- 6) Download Patch320.zip
- 7) Unzip it into the install directory, overwriting any files of the same name
(this step isn't really necessary but provides a few extra pictures)
- 8) Download ExtraGraphics.zip
- 9) Unzip the extra flags and race pictures into the flags and races directories
- 10) Download Medals.zip
- 11) Unzip it into the installation directory, creating a new Medals sub-directory
