It nevertheless became involved in the Mu Cassiopeiae scandal, in which Precursor missiles got through Task Force Mu's point-defense net almost unhindered due to calibration errors on the DDEs' gauss turrets and destroyed a ''Galileo''-class [[SWACS Vessels (Shadow)|SWACS vessel]]. That critical flaw has since been resolved, but the incident remains an unfortunate black mark on the record.
