I don't intend to troll, but in the spirit of a true wiki this article should IMO be broken up into separate articles for all the individual systems or even components, all properly tagged using categories. I came here to find a general article about ship components, for which the search yielded no results. Also, there are some articles out there already, e.g. [[cloaking]]. --[[User:Pal|Pal]] 00:20, 5 June 2012 (PDT)

Range Modifiers for lasers

If someone has more information on this, go ahead and edit the section to include a description. --Eluken 22:27, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Clarification of .33 size Missile launcher

What exactly does "+On Mount Mg" mean?--Eluken 22:28, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

non weapon sub sections

Should the sensor and jump engines be part of this page since they are not weapons?

I left them in there since they are player designed systems. Maybe the page should be renamed to reflect that.--Eluken 02:42, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

new Power, engine, CIWS, Sensor Sections

correct anything I may have added that is incorrect.

Add more general info to all systems

While the details are very interesting for players seeking to improve their skills, I think newbies (like myself) would find a much more general info (about what those systems actually do) a lot more rewarding... For instance, what is a laser in Aurora? It's the only weapon system that will hit (or miss) the target in the same turn as it fires, whereas all other weapon systems use projectiles. (This might be incorrect, I just intend to illustrate my point here). For what would I need a reactor? For both lasers and shields. And so on. --Pal 00:20, 5 June 2012 (PDT)

Breakup

I don't intend to troll, but in the spirit of a true wiki this article should IMO be broken up into separate articles for all the individual systems or even components, all properly tagged using categories. I came here to find a general article about ship components, for which the search yielded no results. Also, there are some articles out there already, e.g. cloaking. --Pal 00:20, 5 June 2012 (PDT)
