Geological Survey Sensors

To complete a geological survey of a system body (planet, moon, asteroid, comet), a survey ship needs to accumulate a certain number of survey points. One Geological Survey Sensor provides one point per hour while the ship is orbiting the planet (note that a Move To order is sufficient, not an Extended Orbit order). This process is automatic.
Improved Geological Survey Sensors provide two points per hour.
