Welcome

Hi and welcome to the wiki! There is not a lot of us atm, so I am happy to see our numbers swell, and thanks for your help! --Mor (talk) 15:55, 30 January 2016 (PST)

Components

Hi. I have seen you have been working on the component articles, and obviously know your way around, so i'd like to run by you an idea I had. What do you think about merging the short articles Other Components and Core components into Components, to create a single comprehensive article that each component page will linkback to. Any objections or better ideas of what todo with them?--Mor (talk) 23:05, 31 January 2016 (PST)

Merges

Sure, that's logical. The only real distinction is designed vs core components, although I do think the comprehensive list should maintain the subgroups as they are listed on the F5 Design tab for ease of lookup. It should also include links to turrets and missiles under the designed section, since although missiles aren't a component they are in the logical group of "things you design with a research project" and users looking for info may end up on that page. Weapons and Damage

I seen you have been editing weapon damage patterns, here are a couple of links that might be of interest to you, if you haven't already seen them. [1] [2]. --Mor (talk) 04:58, 7 February 2016 (PST)

THANK YOU! That second one I had seen, but that first one was the missing puzzle piece I had been looking for regarding the mysteriously increasing laser damage. TMarkos (talk) 05:04, 7 February 2016 (PST)
Although now that I run the numbers he's obviously changed it somewhat from that and/or the max laser template is really high up and includes the exponential increases I was noticing. At least that clarifies that a similar thing will likely happen to missiles! TMarkos (talk)
Glad to be of help. Also that File:DamageTemplate.png works really well, its both informative and easily understood. --Mor (talk) 05:14, 7 February 2016 (PST)

Screen image size

I hadn't thought about portable devices when enlarging the images I did. I can see the merit of the argument for small images but it kind of limits those of us using full sized displays. Is there no technology that allows for multiple resolutions dependent on device type? How have other wikis handled the problem? --User_talk:Havan_IronOak

Interesting topic, If you don't mind lets continue it on AuroraWiki_talk:Manual_of_Style. --Mor (talk) 05:54, 11 February 2016 (PST)
