Missile Launcher
Description
Missile Launchers launch Missiles. The rate of fire is given by
Size / Missile Reload Rate * 30s
A launcher can launch missiles up to its maximum size, and can store one missile equal to its size.
Usage
Missile Launchers are used to deploy all kinds of Missiles, including drones and buoys. Missiles themselves are the most potent weapon in Aurora, however without ammunition your missile launchers are just expensive targets. Missile Launchers reload from Magazines. Reduced size launchers can be useful to increase the salvo size for penetrating active defenses. Box Launchers take this to its extreme, being small, but unable to reload outside a hangar or maintenance facility, and are a popular choice on fighters and FACs.
