Gravitational Survey Sensors are a component, which allow a ship to survey system for Jump points. Gravitational Survey Sensors produce Grav Survey Points. They count as military components. Required Technology: Jump Point Theory. Basic version provides 1 survey point per hour, better variants can be accessed through research.
Usage
To complete a gravitational survey of a survey location, a survey ship needs to accumulate a certain number of survey points. Once the points total has been reached, the survey location may reveal a Jump Point out of the system. Default orders for 'Survey nearest survey location' can be used to automate survey.
