The Recreational Module is a large commercial module (2000 HS/100,000 tons) that allows ships in the same vicinity to go on shore leave as if they were orbiting a colony with more than 10,000 population. This can be useful for relieving stationed military forces, providing a forward base in a less-developed system, or removing the need to rotate out the ships in asteroid mining, terraforming or sorium harvesting operations.
